Our History

MakersBox is a community Maker Space, with a vision to Inspire people to Innovate and Invent. We started in October 2015 as an idea and got incubated at SproutBox to now where we run 3 Maker Spaces, in Delhi, Noida and Karnal. We have in the past few months of our operations held weekend maker classes for children from 4 to 94 years old, worked with them on concepts of innovation, rapid prototyping, to making Internet Connected Devices.

At the heart of our operations is our Home Maker Space, where we work on all our designs, develop our curriculum for courses that we run and have pure fun making things. Setup in January of 2015 in Nehru Place, our Home Lab Moved to a huge location at Okhla Industrial Area, Phase 1 in October of 2017. Our Maker Space is open 7 Days a Week from 9 AM to 9 PM, and we offer various Membership Plans for tinkers of all ages, whether you want to use Machine tools, to 3D Printers or even our Laser Cutters and Etching Machines.

Over the last 2 Years of our Operations, we have built and run many Maker Spaces, from Partnered Spaces with Governments, Educational Institutes and Pop Up Maker Spaces that we build where need be, MakersBox has been changing the way Education is done both in and out of School as well as bringing a change in the way we solve problems.

MakersBox has also worked and launched a few DIY Kits and is enabling access to tools and mechanics that a maker may need, though one can easily buy an Arduino Board or a Raspberry Pi anywhere, our team has put in efforts to bundle kits from Mechanical sets of Screws, Nuts & Bolts to our 3D Based Robotics and Arduino Learning Kits.
